Ownership opportunities

eXp offers programs where agents can earn company stock tied to production milestones, subject to eligibility and vesting.

Revenue share

A program that shares part of company revenue with agents who help grow the brokerage. It's performance-based and not guaranteed.

Training & collaboration

Live and on-demand training, a mentoring program for newly licensed agents, and a large network of agents to learn from.

Joining eXp: FAQ

Do I need a real estate licence to join?
Yes. You need an active real estate licence to join eXp Realty as an agent. In Alberta, licensing goes through the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). If you're working on your licence now, let's talk anyway and I'll help you plan your first year.
What does it cost, and how do commissions work?
eXp publishes its current fees and commission model, and they can change, so I'll walk you through the official documents in a private conversation instead of quoting numbers here.
Is revenue share guaranteed income?
No. eXp's revenue share is based on performance and isn't a salary. eXp publishes an income disclosure that shows most agents earn little or no revenue share. I'd rather you join for the support and the way you can run your business.
Will I have to work from home?
eXp is a cloud-based brokerage, so most training and collaboration happen online. You choose where you work. Locally, we can still meet in person for coffee, showings and mentoring.
